We are a woman-owned, carbon neutral dog daycare, boarding, grooming, and training facility. We use all positive reinforcement, Fear Free methods throughout our service offerings, and our groomers are Fear Free Certified. We are a small facility and able to offer small playgroups and a lot of individual attention because of that.

Kathleen Schonsheck embarked on her journey in the pet care industry in 2011 by volunteering at shelters. From 2012 to 2015, she gained valuable experience working at a dog daycare/boarding/grooming facility and as a bather at a separate salon. In 2016, Kathleen, along with her partner Amanda, opened Uptown Pup. Presently, they are in the final stages of expanding their facility, marking a significant milestone in their business journey.
