West Coast Grooming Academy is the largest state-approved vocational college for pet grooming in the nation, with 5 campuses located throughout Los Angeles. Since 2015, WCGA has graduated nearly 500 Certified Pet Groomers who have gone on to work in the field, volunteer at shelters or rescues, or even opened their own businesses! WCGA also partners with various organizations such as Homeboy Industries, the Department of Rehabilitation, and the Michelson Institute for Pet Professions to provide scholarships to students facing hardships, such as homelessness, domestic violence, former incarceration, disabilities, or financial struggles. WCGA also provides 50% off student grooming services to the community as an affordable grooming option, as well as free grooming to local animal shelters and rescues. WCGA donates thousands of dollars in free grooms every year to help animals in need to find their forever homes.
