John and Lindsay, a husband and wife duo, both graduated from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. Lindsay pursued Elementary Education while John studied Marketing. Lindsay taught at Cowherd Middle School in Aurora for nearly a decade while John, during college, worked at a boarding kennel, sparking his passion for working with dogs. After graduating, John became a certified groomer at The Academy of Dog Grooming Arts and worked at various grooming salons before founding Just For Paws in 2014. Lindsay joined the business full-time four years ago, leaving her teaching career behind to support their growing business. Just For Paws, which will soon celebrate its 10th anniversary, started with John as the sole groomer and has since grown to a team of 15, including groomers, bathers, associates, and managers. They credit their success to their dedicated team, each member bringing valuable contributions to the business.
